How to apply for DSWD Educational Assistance Program

DSWD educational assistance program is a program of DSWD where students in distress can get help financially. Each family can have at most 3 members who can avail of this program.

Qualifications:

  • Breadwinner
  • Working student
  • Ulila/Inabandona na nakikitira sa kaanak
  • Anak ng solo parent
  • Walang trabaho ang magulang
  • Anak ng OFWs
  • Anak ng biktima ng HIV
  • Biktima ng pang-aabuso
  • Biktima ng Kalamidad o sakuna

Not Qualified: 

  • 4P’s beneficiaries
  • Students with other educational scholarship grants like DOST, CHED, etc

Requirements

  • School ID (2022-2023) if available, ID of parents or guardian.
  • Enrollment certificate

Cash payout: 

  • Elementary – PHP 1,000
  • Junior High-PHP 2,000
  • Senior High-PHP 3,000
  • College – PHP 4,000

How to apply? 

Check for announcements in the DSWD office or field office about the venue. DSWD will accept applications every Saturday starting from August 20 to September 24, 2022.
