Each year, Pag-IBIG Fund declares a percentage of its net income as dividends which will be credited proportionately to their members. More particularly to those who invested in the voluntary savings program of the fund or more commonly known as MP2 savings.
For the year 2020, the Fund announced a 6.12% dividend to all its members who decided to invest in MP2. But, the question now is, how will you check if the said dividend amount is truly credited to your MP2 savings account.
Well, here are three easy steps in doing so. If you don’t have a Pag-IBIG online account yet, check this tutorial on how to register.
2. Look for the MP2 Savings option
On the upper left part of the Virtual Pag-IBIG site, three horizontal lines can be seen. Click on it and a list will appear. Then, find the MP2 Savings option for the list and click on it.
3. Check for the amount credited in your MP2 savings
All you need to do is click on the view option of the MP2 table provided by the system. This will automatically produce the data for all the money you have saved up so far and how much interest you have earned. You will also have the option to view your savings per year and see the amount of dividend credited to you in the past year/s.
As for this particular account in the illustration, he managed to save up a total of PHP6,000.00 for the year 2020 which already earned PHP652.07 in dividends.
This is already a huge amount compared to banks or other institutions that also offer interest in money saved through them.
So, what are you waiting for? Visit the Virtual Pag-IBIG site now and invest your money in the MP2 Savings program.
